American Mammoth Jackstock
At A27 Farm, we are proud to raise three beautiful American Mammoth Jackstock. Two of them are Jennies, and one is a Jack. These gentle giants are known for their friendly and docile nature, making them excellent companions for both humans and other animals.
Our Mammoth Jackstock are expertly cared for, with a focus on providing them with plenty of space to roam and graze on our lush pastures. They are fed a nutritious diet of grass and hay, ensuring that they are healthy and happy.
Not only are these animals a joy to be around, but they also play an important role in our farm's ecosystem. Their manure is an excellent natural fertilizer for our crops, helping to enrich the soil and promote healthy plant growth.

Easter Egger Chickens
At A27 Farm, we take pride in raising our Easter Egger chickens with care and attention. Our hens and roosters are a mix of beautiful colors and feather patterns, and they lay delicious and nutritious eggs with vibrant shells in shades of blue, green, and pink.
Our chickens live in a beautiful new coop that was constructed in the fall of 2022. The coop is spacious and comfortable, providing the perfect environment for our chickens to thrive. They are free to roam around our fruit tree orchard, where they can scratch and peck at the ground, and enjoy the fruits of the trees.
We practice permaculture on our farm, which means that we work with nature to create a sustainable and self-sufficient ecosystem. Our chickens play an important role in this ecosystem, as they help to control pests and fertilize the soil with their droppings.

Our Beef Steers
At A27 Farm, we take pride in raising our Holstein steers with care and attention. Our steers are grass-fed and spend their days grazing on our lush 25-acre pasture. We also provide them with hay grown on our property during the winter months, ensuring that they have access to nutritious food year-round.
Our Holstein steers are used for small-scale beef production, and we are committed to providing high-quality, locally-raised beef to our customers. We believe that raising our steers on a natural diet of grass and hay produces meat that is not only delicious but also more nutritious and sustainable than conventionally-raised beef.
In the past, we have raised Red Angus steers, and in the future, we may raise Red, Black, or Holstein steers depending on availability and demand. Regardless of the breed, we are committed to raising our steers in a humane and ethical manner, ensuring that they are treated with respect and care throughout their lives.

Our Beautiful Trout Pond
At A27 Farm, we take pride in our beautiful trout pond, which was built in the spring of 2020. The pond features a sand beach and lush grassy areas, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun.
In 2021, we stocked the pond with 300 rainbow trout, and we are committed to maintaining a healthy and sustainable ecosystem for these beautiful fish. We test the water for contaminants yearly, as part of our permaculture process to ensure the health and safety of our trout and our ecosystem.
On select occasions, we offer fresh-caught trout to our customers, providing them with a delicious and nutritious source of protein that is sustainably sourced right here on our farm.
Our trout pond is also a great source of fun and enjoyment for our family and our dogs. We love to swim in the fresh water and watch the fish as they swim by. It's a great way to relax and unwind, while also enjoying the beauty of nature.
